I’m Rebecca
I am married to my best friend and a boy mama of 3. I truly believe that God put me on this Earth to be their Mama. They are by far my greatest blessings and biggest accomplishments.
Motherhood is my muse + the reason I began my photography journey. I have always loved flipping through old photo albums with my mom. I didn’t go anywhere without a camera in my hand- documenting every waking moment with my friends, family, and even the occasional mirror selfie. I loved it- but I didn’t find a true passion for it until after my oldest son was born. I was a young new mom with a baby who was changing and growing right before my eyes and there was nothing I could do to stop it. I recognized how fleeting and special these moments were and I knew that I had to somehow pause time. This insane desire to capture every moment and detail of his life so that I could hold onto it forever grew until it evolved into what my photography business is today.
My Art has continued to evolve since then. In the last few years I’ve come to view photography in a different light. I know we all dream of looking beautiful in our images but we forget beauty is often found in the ordinary. I am not here to document perfection. I am here to showcase your life. The mundane moments. A place that will hold so much nostalgia in the years to come. What if instead of studying our flaws when looking at your photographs we embrace them and romanticize the moments that were captured. You will then experience an overflowing rush of emotion for the life you have lived rather than how you looked living it. That is my hope for your sessions.
